Meet The Nutritionists
Lizzy Swick, MS, RD is the Nutrition Director for Dr. Mark Hyman’s virtual Nutrition Coaching service.
She holds a graduate degree in nutrition from Bastyr University which focuses on whole foods, systems-based nutrition.
Lizzy has a background in environmental studies with a focus on sustainable agriculture and public health education.
She has traveled through various parts of the globe working on organic farms in an effort to connect the health of the
planet with human health. She is interested in helping others reconnect with their wellness and loves working with food
literacy and diet as a means to that end. Her focus is on whole foods, traditional diets, women’s health and mind-body nutrition.
Lizzy loves to cook and enjoys working with others to share her knowledge and translate nutritional science back into ritualistic
kitchen fun. She loves a good run, a relaxing yoga class, and people watching in NYC. She lives with her husband and daughter in New Jersey.

Maryelaine “Mel” Sotos
Maryelaine “Mel” Sotos MS RD, LD is an integrative dietitian with a Masters Degree in Nutrition from Texas State University and additional training in functional and integrative nutrition. Prior to a career in nutrition, Mel was an architectural and graphic designer having graduated from University of Texas at Austin with a Masters in Architecture. During her schooling at UT, changes in her diet created positive changes in her heath and from that point forward, her perspective on nutrition shifted. Food became medicine. A mere recreational interest in nutrition turned professional and after working a handful of years in the design field, she shifted directions to pursue a career in nutrition science in order to share her philosophy of food as medicine, with an emphasis on whole-food based diets.
Prior to joining the team at Hyman Enterprises, Mel was the dietitian at Austin UltraHealth, the integrative and functional medicine clinic of Amy Myers MD in Austin Texas. Mel has also been a faculty member at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health where she gave lectures and lead workshops on a variety of health related topics.

Stephanie Greunke is a registered dietitian with a functional approach to wellness. She has a master's degree in nutrition and health promotion, a certification in holistic wellness, and a personal training certification. Her primary passion is women's health, focusing on hormones, fertility, optimizing health during pregnancy, and supporting women through their transition into menopause. Her own health struggles and experience working with naturopathic doctors has opened her eyes to a whole new world of medicine. She focuses on the underlying factors that are promoting the particular health problem, instead of just treating labs or the number on the scale. Stephanie enjoys educating and empowering individuals to be their own health advocate.
Stephanie lives in California and enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, playing with her Jack Russell puppy, and cooking simple, healthy meals.

Bridget Nichols, MS, RD is an integrative nutritionist with a Masters degree in Nutrition from Bastyr University with additional training in functional medicine. She enjoys supporting individuals and groups through nutrition consultations, nutrition seminars, and whole foods cooking classes. Bridget's clinical specialties include weight management, food allergies, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and reducing inflammation. She believes that eating the right foods is the foundation for a full, vibrant life. Her compassion and ability to meet you wherever you are at on your health journey will give you the support you need to optimize your health.
Prior to her nutrition career, Bridget worked as a certified public accountant in a variety of industries. Her transition to the nutrition field was fueled by a desire to share the power of nutrition to help others improve their health. Bridget lives in Seattle with her husband Dave where they enjoy cooking, friends, and travel.
