Healing Meals - Berry Basil-ade

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 Cup Fresh or frozen blueberries wild, organic if possible
  • 4 Sprigs Fresh Basil
  • 1 Lemon Juiced
  • 2 Cups Chilled Water
  • 1 Cup Ice Optional

Method

Step 1

Place the blueberries and the basil in a blender and blend on high until uniformly combined, about 30 to 60 seconds. Add the lemon juice and stir to incorporate.

Step 2

Pour water into a pitcher and add ice, if using. Add the berry mixture to the pitcher and stir to combine.

Step 3

Best enjoyed when fresh but this lemonade can be stored in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days
