 Arterosil contains rhamnan sulfate, a specialized sulfated polysaccharide derived from the green seaweed Monostroma nitidum. Rhamnan sulfate is a glycocalyx regenerating compound (GRC) and has been reported to possess anticoagulant and antithrombotic activity^13.

The rhamnan sulfate found in Arterosil has a similar chemical structure to heparan sulfate found abundantly in human endothelial glycocalyx, and may exert its biological activities by regenerating endothelial glycocalyx.

Ingredients and Recommended Use

Clinical experience suggests that a dose of two capsules per day (1 B.I.D.) is optimum. Arterosil has been tested at up to six capsules per day with no adverse affects.

There are no known contraindications for Arterosil. Clinical safety studies were conducted on the product: no adverse effects were reported, and Arterosil was well tolerated by all subjects.

Arterosil is not a blood thinner, and is not contraindicated with anticoagulant therapies such as Warfarin, Coumadin, Heparin, Aspirin, etc

The seaweed comes from island outcroppings in the Pacific Ocean. We do not disclose the exact location due to competitive and patent-related reasons.

The seaweed is wild crafted in a pristine area and harvested by hand by indigenous people in the traditional fashion.
